The new generation of teenagers now spend quite a lot of time hanging out at coffee shops and malls, gone were the days where the teenagers would hang out by someones backyard playing Chinese Checkers. Monica said this is in response to the changing times and we really cannot compare this new breed of teens to our own teenage years. Last week when she and I went to the mall, we saw a bunch of teenagers with huge headphones on, some were attached to what looked like a cd player while others were attached to iPod and Zune. There was one who was rapping while listening to his music, and from the lines hes rapping it sounds like he was listening to Dance Wiv Me by dizzee rascal. Monica said she never liked rap music, even when Eminem was a huge hit back during our high school days she was one of the few who never took a second to listen to his songs. I never liked rap music myself, am more of an alternative rock chick while Monica is the pop queen.
